Becca Darke
Becca’s high-energy personality really shows in the way she teaches Summit students about physical education: taking
care of our bodies (the “temple of the Holy Spirit” -1 Cor. 6:19) so we can all be better servants of the Lord. She is
passionate about God, learning, teaching, coaching, and longing on kids!
Becca earned her BA in Psychology with a minor in neuroscience, but her love for athletics also led her to play Division I college soccer for 4 years, before spending 3 years with the Athletes in Action ministry. She is the wife of Phil and the mother of 5 children (3 Summit grads with 2 currently enrolled). A verse that continues to inspire her to be involved in ministry is from Isa. 6:8 – “Then I heard the voice of the Lord saying, ‘Whom shall I send, who will go for us?’ Then I said, ‘Here I am Lord, send me.’”
