Mr. Couchman earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Christian Education from Bethany Bible College in Santa Cruz followed by his Master of Arts degree in Religious Education from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Ft. Worth, TX. He holds an ACSI Lifetime Professional Administrators Certificate. He has worked in Christian schools at all levels continuously since 1982.

A major influence of his career choice was Luke 6:40 – “A student is not above his teacher, but everyone when he is fully trained will be like his teacher.”
